Ger, Yitzhak
Son of Sarah and Abraham. Yitzhak was born on the 17th of Tammuz 5623 (1.7.1923). As an adult, Yitzhak enlisted in the police and served as a police officer. With the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, Yitzhak continued to serve as a policeman in the Israel Police. Yitzhak served in the Tel Aviv area and lived with his family in the settlement of Azor. Policeman Yitzhak Ger fell during his service on the 27th of Elul 5721 (August 27, 1961), in a car accident in Tel Aviv. He was thirty-eight years old. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, Tel Aviv. Survived by a wife, children and brothers. Yitzhak is commemorated at the police memorial in Kiryat Ata.
