Gedalyahu, Micha
Son of Efraim and Musia. He was born on Hanukkah, on December 5, 1942, at Kibbutz Shamir, while the kibbutz sat in its temporary place near Ramat Yohanan. He was then transferred with the kibbutz children to the permanent place on the Syrian border where he was raised and educated. When the War of Independence broke out, he returned to Haifa for a short transition period together with all the kibbutz children who stood in the line of fire. After graduating from elementary school, he entered the educational institution of the Upper Galilee and studied there until he completed his studies there. He was a member of the Ha – Shomer ha – Tsa’ir youth movement. son of Masur became his kibbutz and his home. By nature he moved away from all the prominence and was Simcha to be one of many.
