Son of Yosef and Malka. Born on July 27, 1947 in Borne Asher, Bulgaria, his family immigrated to Israel in 1949 and Gavri Siman-Tov attended elementary school in Moshav Beit Hanan in the south and was an athlete and was involved in volleyball, basketball and soccer. After graduating from elementary school, he studied at the agricultural high school in Kfar Silver, was quiet by nature and was very friendly and friendly to his friends, and since childhood he has been very devoted to his friends and caring for others, and he admired his parents and respected his family. In July 1965 he was drafted into the IDF and volunteered for the Nahal Brigade, where he served as a devoted soldier, After completing basic training, the entire nucleus moved to Kerem Shalom, and Siman-Tov was able to demonstrate his ability to work in all sectors of the agriculture. He was always on the move and dreamed that the garden, in the far corner of southern Israel, would do well, and by nature he loved a company and loved a talk of rishers, and his great dream was to reach Almagor with his friends. He loved the work of the land and invested all his strength and energy in it. He concentrated the vegetable garden there and put momentum in the work. He never seemed to sit still and quiet. Even after the day’s work he would continue to work in the garden next to his room. He met his wife, a volunteer from Los Angeles, and together they built their home and dreamed about their future. They were Simcha with their share and their dreams. When Siman Tov left for reserve duty in the canal area, his wife was pregnant, and every letter he wrote to his friend showed concern for his wife. In his last letter he even asked his friend to take care of his wife if she needed his help. On the 17th of Tammuz 5729 (1.7.1969) he fell in the line of duty. He left a pregnant wife. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Kfar Hanagid. A baby born one month after the fall of his father is given the name “Aviad”.
