Garciani, Yosef (Yossi, Joe)

Yosef (Yossi, Joe), son of Ester and Shmuel, was born on September 16, 1951, in Ramat Gan. In the Yom Kippur War, Yossi participated in the battles of containment and break-ins against the Egyptians on the Sinai front. On 17.10.1973, he fell in battle at the railway station near Serfaum and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery at Kiryat Shaul. He left behind a father, a mother and a sister, and was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant.
