Garchi, Mordechai

Son of Aziz and Gilo. He was born on September 3, 1950 in Haifa. He completed his studies at the state elementary school in Kfar Gvirol, and then went to work. Mordechai was disciplined and quiet. He supported his parents and gave them all his wages. He was a member of a youth organization in Kfar Gvirol. He was drafted into the IDF in May 1968 and assigned to the Armored Corps on May 31, 1969, when Mordechai fell in combat in the area of ​​the Suez Canal and was laid to rest in the military section of the Rehovot cemetery.
