Gar, Chava


Daughter of Moses and Sarah. She was born on 19.8.1950 in Netanya and studied at the Itamar elementary school in the city, where her family moved to Rishon LeZion, Chava continued her studies at Haviv Elementary School and quickly became accustomed to the environment and even acquired new friends. She was cheerful and Simcha and had no sadness about her parents’ past before they immigrated to Israel, and when she smiled she not only looked prettier but the whole world was more handsome and cheerful, and she was always full of joy, kind and willing to help others. She attended the Ariel high school in Rishon Lezion and took the matriculation exams, reading books and her Lev attracted to drama. She was a member of Maccabi and participated in many marches, including the Negev Parade, and she participated in the choir of the school, and together with two of her friends, she was well-known for her work. As the initiator and performer of every cultural and social event in which he noted her peace, her peace of mind and her unwillingness to stand out, and in the Six Day War volunteered to work at Kibbutz Nachshon in the Jerusalem corridor. Chava was recruited to the IDF in January 1969. She died in a military accident and was sent to the military section of the old cemetery on June 13, 1969, In Rishon Letzion, an English-language reference library was established in Rishon Letzion, near the general library of the Ariel High School.
