Alon, son of Annie and Reuven (Rubik), was born on March 30, 1954 in Kibbutz Yiron. He studied at the “Mevo’ot HaNegev” high school in Kibbutz Shoval. Alon was a good student, meticulous and diligent and excelled mainly in the natural sciences – mathematics and physics. He was curious and interested in many fields.
