Alon, son of Annie and Reuven (Rubik), was born on March 30, 1954 in Kibbutz Yiron. He studied at the “Mevo’ot HaNegev” high school in Kibbutz Shoval. Alon was a good student, meticulous and diligent and excelled mainly in the natural sciences – mathematics and physics. He was curious and interested in many fields. He was very active: a member of many committees, a member and a member of the Hashomer Hatzair movement, he was a member of the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel and participated in competitions in light athletics. Alon was a pleasant and gentle boy, quiet, polite and polite. Everyone knew him as a kind, serious and responsible guy. He was honest and conscientious. Among his friends he became known as a very sociable friend and moved away from quarrels and demons as if afraid to hurt others.
