Gantz, Yehezkel

Son of-Haim-Yoel and Zelda. He was born on 21.12.1934 in Aucha-Morash, Romania. Out of the spirit of pioneering he had in his Lev, he left for Palestine in 1947 but was arrested in an English concentration camp in Cyprus and settled there for half a year. He arrived in Israel in 1948. He was a member of the religious youth village near Kfar Hasidim. After completing his army service he participated in several retaliatory activities, took several courses with honors, joined the regular army, participated in the Sinai Campaign in the battle for the Mitla, and died on the 14th of Elul 5717 (14.9.1957) In Zichron Yaacov
