Their son was the firstborn of Livneh and Issachar. He was born on September 20, 1970 in Holon. David began to study at the Sirkin Elementary School in Holon, continued in the junior high school at the Ginzburg School in Yavneh and completed his studies at the Onim boarding school in Kfar Saba. David was a member of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed movement and had many friends who filled his house at all times. With his friends in the youth movement, he traveled extensively throughout Israel. He was connected to his family, a loyal son to his parents, and a brother worried about his two young sisters. David loved to help his mother with housework, especially cooking and baking, and he wanted to specialize in the profession of cookery. David was drafted into the IDF in May 1988. At first he wanted to volunteer for Golani, but eventually was assigned to the maintenance corps, and after basic training and professional courses, he was sent to work as a cook in the kitchen of the officers’ school, and his friends testified that he performed well socially and professionally. (On June 23, 1990), Corporal David Gani fell during his service and was taken to rest – They are in the military cemetery in Holon. Survived by his parents and two sisters – Etti and Hedva. In a letter of condolence to the family, his commander said that “David served in Bahad I for two years as a kitchen worker. He was a disciplined soldier, dedicated and loved by his commanders and friends. In his quiet way, he did his job in the best possible way. “
