Galtner, Friedrich (Michael)

Son of Reuven and Pnina. He was born on the 11th of Kislev 5702 (December 1, 1941) in the city of Baku, Romania. The family immigrated to Israel in 1948. He studied at Kibbutz Dan and Kibbutz Amir until his high school graduation. He belonged to the Ha – Shomer ha – Tsa’ir youth movement. He was cheerful and Simcha with his part, and hence his love of singing, playing the harmonica, and participating in plays. He was drafted into the IDF in October 1959. On the 12th of Shvat 5720 (10.2.1960) he died and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
