Galski, Ze’ev (Ze’evi)
Ze’ev ben Yosef and Paulina was born on the 18th of Adar, March 12, 1955, in Poland. He immigrated to Israel with his family in 1957. Ze’ev was drafted into the IDF in November 1973 and volunteered for the Israel Air Force, after which he was sent to a pilot’s course. After completing his training he completed a course on parachuting. Ze’ev was proud of his service and loved his country. On the 11th of Nissan, April 11th, 1976, Ze’ev fell while serving in the south of the country, and was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, leaving behind his parents and sister. A bereaved commander wrote: “Ze’ev served in one of the IDF’s elite units, which caused him great satisfaction. He was loved by all and dedicated in his difficult role.”
