Gadari, Matan

Son of Rina and Ilan, a brother to Dafna and Amnon. Born on April 16, 1982, third generation in Moshav Moledet. In November 2000, Matan was drafted into the IDF and, after a difficult appointment, was accepted to the Nahal Brigade and served as a leading navigator. On the 8th of Sivan 5763 (June 8, 2003), a PFLP team was dispatched in which Matan served to pursue terrorists in the Casbah of Hebron. Towards evening, a battle developed with the terrorists in which Matan found his death at the age of twenty-one. He was laid to rest in the military section of Moshav Moledet.
