Ben Tita and Jacob, was born in 1940 in Tripoli, Libya, the eldest son of his children, and was educated in an Italian and Arabic environment, surrounded by affection and admiration for his younger brothers and sisters. Kamus was drafted into the IDF in mid-January 1969. He underwent basic training and was released in mid-April, and the only shadow that clouded the parents’ happiness in their son was that they kept him single, but their happiness was filled when he brought his girlfriend Ines to their home and settled in a rented apartment Where he was born in Or Yehuda, where his two sons were born, to whom he was proud, and he continued his training while serving in the reserves, took a training course in artillery and was assigned to an artillery unit as a translator, and then returned to his modest life. Because of the difficult life in Tripoli, and when the Yom Kippur War broke out Amos was called to his unit in Sinai. On the 16th of Tishrei 5734 (October 16, 1973), his unit was stationed in the Tasa area and suddenly a heavy bombardment hit the area. Amos was hit by shell shrapnel and killed. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He left behind a wife and two sons, parents, four brothers and two sisters. After his fall, he was promoted to corporal.
