Gabai, Ezra

Son of Salman and Rosa. He was born in 1936 in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, where he completed his studies in elementary school and immigrated to Israel in 1951. He worked in the Hadera paper factory and was devoted to his work, and in May 1954 he completed his regular service, The army only after the Sinai Campaign, in 1956. Then he set up his home. From time to time he was called up for reserve duty. He even participated in the Six-Day War. On the 30th of Tevet 5728 (30.1.1968), in the course of fulfilling his duties, he died suddenly. He left a wife and four children. He was laid to rest in the Hadera cemetery.
