Furstenfeld, Aharon (Adolf)
Son of Dov Ber (Bernard). He was born on November 2, 1919 in Dresden, Germany, from where he immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1936. After a brief stay in the framework of the Youth Aliyah, he began studying at the Technion in Haifa and in 1940 joined the British army and served in the Artillery Corps. On 23 Shvat (February 9, 1942), when he was traveling with his fiancée, he was shot to death by an Arab near the old Muslim cemetery in Jerusalem. He was brought to eternal rest on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. He was survived by parents in Poland.
