Ftkin, Izhar (“Zurich”)

Son of Moshe and Chasia. Born on 25.6.1934 in Netanya, his parents were among the first builders. He graduated from the Tchernichovsky High School there. He belonged to the Young Maccabi. Was drafted into the IDF in July 1952. On August 28, 1952, he fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Netanya. In the synagogue in the home – the smile of the blind in Jerusalem, a plaque was set up in his memory by his parents.
