After some time, due to health problems, Guy was forced to leave the naval commando, and during the waiting period for his absorption into another elite unit, he was transferred to a Nahal unit as a new recruits commander. “Guy is doing his job very well, he has a high work ethic and relates to assignments in a serious and mature way.” On February 14, 1992, in the area of ​​Ramat Menashe, Guy fell in a battle against terrorists who infiltrated the recruits tent and was brought to eternal rest in the military section of the cemetery in Zichron Yaakov. In a letter of condolence to the family, Defense Minister Moshe Arens wrote: “Guy served in the Nahal paramilitary brigade, and was an excellent soldier and commander, one of the best in the company. “The desire to serve in elite units guided you before serving in the IDF and throughout your service to this day.
