Son of Ines and Chaim was born on May 5, 1965, in Moshav Dalton, in the Upper Galilee, and his father, who was born in the Czech Republic and his mother, was born in Libya, immigrated to Israel in 1951 and built their home in Dalton. And his family and his family were severely affected: Arieh was the fifth child of a large family, and his older brothers and sisters moved out of the house, got married, and established families of their own. He remained in the house, and as the older brother, he was worried about his father, his mother, and his small children, and he tended the children and the farm even when there was no longer enough to support a family. He studied at the elementary school in Moshav Shalev, after two years of elementary school in Kerem Son of-Zimra, continued his studies at the Meron Comprehensive School, In May 1983, Aryeh enlisted in the IDF and was assigned to serve in the Northern Command, near his home. On August 30, 1983, on a Simcha vacation, he took a civilian vehicle on the Acre-Safed road. Near Ramah, his car collided head-on with a vehicle in front of him and Aryeh was killed. He was 18 when he died. He was laid to rest in his seat at Dalton. Survived by his parents, seven brothers and four sisters. The commander of his unit wrote in a letter of condolence to his family: “Aryeh came to the Directorate of the Northern Command in order to serve his people and to protect Israel’s security, but a road accident took away his youth prematurely.
