Frumer, Avraham-Haim

Son of Nachman and Yehudit. Born on 29.8.1938 in Tel Aviv, he was a descendant of a family of rabbis from Poland who studied in an elementary school in Givatayim, was a young boy with a quick and alert grasp, and always demanded the truth and justice of all those around him. After completing elementary school, he studied for one year at a high school in Kibbutz Na’an and then returned to his home and studied for another year, and when he finished his sixth class he left with his group from the Hanoar Haoved movement for training in Kibbutz Malkia Where he worked as a dairy farmer and after a while he was injured by his friends and left the kibbutz. In the service of the leaves, the doctor had a slight defect in his arm, for he regarded the service as the duty of every citizen. Was drafted into the IDF in August 1956. Even before leaving the basic training base, he participated in the Sinai infantry system and immediately after the fighting, he underwent a course for a squad commander and then another course. Then a commander was appointed to reserve duty, but some time later he asked to be transferred to a combat unit because he did not see a blessing in this role of commanding older people. He aspired to serve as an officer in the infantry and acted in this direction, but he fell on the 11th of Iyar 5708 (11.5.1958) while fulfilling his duties and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. The parents donated an electric chandelier to the Great Synagogue of Ein Yaakov in Givatayim.
