Baruch began his studies at the Son of Tzvi elementary school in Rehovot, and continued at the “Na’amat” school in Beit Pula in Jaffa, where he was a good and disciplined student, and he was very sensitive and industrious, and Baruch’s life was fraught with challenges and difficulties. He had many friends with whom he loved to play football, to laugh and to have fun, who spoke of his kindness, his willingness to anyone and at any time, his openness and his sensitivity to others. He felt the great responsibility he placed on his shoulders, he took care of his younger brothers as a father, supported them, educated them, and accompanied them. “Square of Dreams” starring singer Shlomi Saranga, where he appears as a member of the film, and was photographed in a restaurant in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood of Rehovot, 16.1.2002, after completing a pre-military course that trained him as a driver. At the end of basic training, he was assigned to the Intelligence Corps, and in the short period in which he served, he became very fond of the soldiers and commanders of the base. Baruch had many dreams, but his life was cut short and his painful family remained orphaned. Baruch fell in the line of duty on 26 April 2002 in a fatal road accident at the Caesarea highway. With him fell three of his friends – First Sergeant Shachar David, First Sergeant Guy Meroz, and Sergeant Yitzhak (Itzik) Levi. Two tourists were also killed and three others were seriously injured. On his grave, a commander eulogized him: “We came here today, shocked and hurt, to say goodbye to Baruch, who was killed in a car accident while on duty, and he is not yet 19. Baruch, you arrived at the unit only a month ago, after a pre-army course and basic training. I was a disciplined soldier, pleasant, modest and quiet, and during the brief period in which you served in the unit, you were assessed by your commanders, who were impressed by your seriousness and willingness to learn and succeed in your new position, Before the fruit, before you let us enjoy your goodness and your skills. “How can we be consoled and comforted by the loss, the loss of And three friends, young and Yaffa, the future generation of the unit, the army and the state. Every morning it is customary to say a prayer: ‘what precious blessings of God and the people in the shadow of thy wings Ihsion, Iroion fertilizer River Adnic home and rehabilitate. ” Baruch’s commanders and friends prepared in his memory a special album containing pictures from his various stations, and things written in his memory. At the beginning of the album, the unit’s commander, Col. D., wrote: “Dear family, there are no words to comfort, and nothing will hide the heavy mourning that enveloped your life in one moment. We have chosen to express our sincere sympathy with this album, which contains pictures and letters of commanders and members of the unit. The memory of Baruch will be forever locked in our hearts. “Itzik wrote from the maintenance section:” Baruch, on pages it is hard to describe pain, tears, loss. But to commemorate four friends, I have to try. Everyone has a story, each with family, friends, loves, disappointments, joy and sadness. It’s a very difficult feeling because when the pictures on TV are difficult, but when it happens to you or your friends, then the whole picture is changing. Because here I know the person, his personality, his virtues and his shortcomings. On this page I have to say goodbye to not one, not two, but four friends, how hard and how painful to do such a thing. Baruch, from the little I knew you, I loved you. The constant smile and the constant joy went everywhere with you, and I will not forget it. The true love for all and the desire to help were your strong qualities. I will never forget you, mate. “Meital wrote, from the trio:” I have met Baruch a little. We went together to the unit, we stayed together when everyone went out to normal, we spent time laughing, fearing, and a lot of love. He was an amazing and funny boy, the funniest thing I ever met. I remember him, and the smile that is always on his face. There is no doubt about it – it’s missing. “Galit, the planning officer at the base of the intelligence, broke up with Baruch in her poem:” And then, at the sight of a note he wrote, a flash of memory on his face, his smiling gaze from pictures, Memory / understand – will not turn back from the hands of the clock / and tears rise and suffocate in your throat / because you realize, / at the moment / magnitude of the disaster. “Shiri wrote from the contact section:” And everything is like nothing. / Get up in the morning, ride the same ride, / drink the coffee, read the newspaper, / Lev ache from another attack or disaster. They are here not more, but they are here more than ever, and they are there now, forever – there is no future. “Look at the sky, try to find the answer / Nothing will change the feeling here, nothing will explain, nothing will console / Tomorrow we will get up again in the morning, tomorrow I will remember you again.” Moran wrote: “Baruch … When I hear the name Baruch, Your image is in front of my eyes. I take the time back and remember a shy, new and charming soldier who only enlisted in the IDF, I only got to know you for three weeks, three weeks I was willing to give them everything to get you back just one more time. I remember one time when we did a night together, we sat at the club and saw the ‘Briza’ channel, where Didi Harari’s ‘The King of the Neighborhood’ program was there, and sang a song by Zohar Argov, ‘The King,’ as you called him , And you said to me: ‘I also want to appear in this program with Zohar’s song.’ When you spoke about it, you had a brilliant spark in your eyes, softly, they are now playing a song of radiance on the radio, Eleanor, and I want to dedicate the song to you from the bottom of my Lev. Baruch was immortalized in various places. His name is engraved in the “boys’ garden” in the Gvirol neighborhood and the monument erected in the “Son of Zvi” school in Rehovot. He was also immortalized in the Intelligence Unit where he served, and on the Intelligence Corps website
