Frifer, Avraham (“Abba”)


Son of Israel and Etel. He was born on the 22nd of March 1926 in the city of Gorodenka, Poland. Part of his family perished in the hands of the Nazis during World War II. Graduated from elementary school. He served in the Russian army on the Japanese front in the years 1944-1947 and later immigrated to Israel (in 1948). Was an iron-building according to his profession. Was drafted into the IDF in July of that year and joined the Beit Horon Battalion, with whom he fought in the Jerusalem Battalions, while serving in the Armored Corps, and on 7 June 1959 he fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the Kiryat Military Cemetery -borrowed. Put a wife in her pregnancy; His eldest son, born after they fell, was named after his father.
