Friedman, Haim


Son of Barko and Mintz. He was born on May 12, 1934 in Poland. Immigrated to Israel in 1949. Studied within the framework of the youth company at Kibbutz Sha’ar Hagolan. He belonged to the Ha – Shomer ha – Tsa’ir youth movement. He was a farmer by profession. He was drafted into the IDF as part of the Nahal Brigade in February 1953. He fell in battle at Nitzana on 27 May 1954 and was brought to rest at the Sha’ar Hagolan cemetery. This hero is a “last scion”. The survivors of the Holocaust are survivors of the Holocaust who survived the last remnant of their nuclear family (parents, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters) who experienced the Holocaust in the ghettos and / or concentration camps and / or in hiding and hiding in territories occupied by the Nazis and / Or in combat alongside members of the underground movements or partisans in the Nazi-occupied territories who immigrated to Israel during or after World War II, wore uniforms and fell in the Israeli army.
