Friedman, Haim

Son of Barko and Mintz. He was born on May 12, 1934 in Poland. Immigrated to Israel in 1949. Studied within the framework of the youth company at Kibbutz Sha’ar Hagolan. He belonged to the Ha – Shomer ha – Tsa’ir youth movement. He was a farmer by profession. He was drafted into the IDF as part of the Nahal Brigade in February 1953. He fell in battle at Nitzana on 27 May 1954 and was brought to rest at the Sha’ar Hagolan cemetery. This hero is a “last scion”.
