Friedman, David (Dudik)


Son of Chana and Avraham. Born on the 2nd of Tammuz, July 2, 1965 in Tel Aviv. In October 1983 David enlisted in the IDF and served in the Artillery Corps. He went through basic training and a basic course for artillery fighters. On the 16th of Adar 1, February 19, 1984, David was killed in an accident. He was 18 years old. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. David left behind his parents, brother and sister. The commander of his unit wrote about him in a letter of condolence to his family: “As time goes on, the appreciation for David, his image, values ​​and exemplar that he projected around him grows, both as a fighter, in his great motivation and his influence on those around him during his service in the battery and battalion”
