Friedlaender, Zvi (Otto)
Son of Yosef and Ilana. He was born on May 22, 1926, in the town of Mazowarish, Hungary, graduated from high school in his hometown, immigrated to Israel in 1946. He was a member of the Haganah since his arrival in Israel and was one of the first paratroopers in the IDF . He fell in the course of his duties on the 23rd of Marcheshvan 5715 (15.11.1949) and was brought to rest at the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery. The parents’ ownership of the land in 1949 did not find him alive. His memory was mentioned in Uri Milstein’s book, “The Paratroop Wars.”
