Fried, Zvi


Son of Avraham. He was born on January 10, 1900 in Budapest, Hungary. In 1917 he joined the Austrian army and served there for two years. In 1939 he immigrated with his family to Eretz Israel and settled in Tel Aviv. During World War II he enlisted in the British Army and was assigned to the Transportation Corps. On the 23rd of Tevet (29.1.1943), he died of an illness and was buried in the Nachlat Yitzhak cemetery
