Son of Ritzel and Chaim Leib was born on June 15, 1926, in Clonordheim, Hungary, where he received a religious education, studied at the yeshiva, and acquired a high school education, during the Second World War, He was a member of the “Haganah” and was a member of the “Haganah.” After the War of Independence, he served in the religious unit of the Haganah in Tel Aviv and later in the Givati ​​Brigade. He underwent sabotage training and took part in the operations of Tel Arish, Salameh, Batani and Sharkiya. In his department he was a “Fiatist.” In the army, too, he was loyal to his religious education and was observant. His unit clung to Hill 69 east of the coastal road to block the movement of the Egyptians. The hill was captured on June 8, 1948, and the force began to barricade itself. On June 10, 1948, the Egyptians shelled the outpost heavily and later on, infantry forces attacked it with armored vehicles. The enemy fire caused the casualties, the collapse of the positions and the damage to the weapons. Under pressure from the enemy, the force retreated from the outpost, and in retaliation in the open area, additional fighters were injured. In this battle fell. His body and the bodies of his comrades remained on the hill and were brought to the grave of Israel nine months later upon the liberation of the place. He was identified according to the “small Talit” that was always on his body. On the 8th of Adar 5709 (9.3.1949) he was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
