Afterward, he studied at Leo Baeck High School in the city and graduated from the Mishlav High School in Haifa. As his father attested, Danny was a handsome and very clever boy in his childhood. “When he grew up, he turned out to be a smart young man, very quick-thinking, alert to everything, and also able to recognize the character traits of the people he came into contact with. Quickly took final decisions on the matters he had dealt with, and was interested in sports in that period, but did not deal with it. ” He was a member of the Scouts youth movement and also taught youth. He liked to read newspapers and invest time and time in organizing tours and excursions. Danny was orphaned by his mother before the age of twelve. He kept the feelings of pain to himself and when he had to move into his uncle’s house, he understood his father’s condition and did not resent him for it. He adapted well to his uncle and aunt’s house and began to take his studies more seriously. At the same time, he devoted all his energies to the youth movement and to his hobby – photography in nature. Prior to his enlistment in the IDF, Danny joined with his friends in the youth movement, the “Nahal” Nahal faction in Kibbutz Gadot. Danny was drafted into the IDF in November 1971. After basic training, he took a course in the field of knowledge of the country and in a medics course and served in the Nahal Brigade in the Jordan Valley. He continued to maintain close contact with his family in Haifa and before his release from the IDF, he was considered a member of an agricultural moshav, and on the last day of his service in the IDF, Danny fell in the line of duty. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
