He was born on the 6th of Shvat 5739 (February 6, 1979) in Hadera, where he studied at the “Ahava” boarding school in Kiryat Bialik, where he began high school, and David loved life in the boarding school, his friends and teachers “David was a smart, understanding and thoughtful young man who had a difficult childhood but knew how to open himself up to people and develop himself in various fields, he showed a tendency to art and showed a special talent in painting and carpentry David had a good heart and a wide heart, and was always ready to help those around him, and he had a very strong connection to his younger brothers, Ben and Mike. He completed his high school studies at the Ort Sprinzak School in Haifa, where David was very fond of the country and the army, dreamed of serving in the combat forces and contributing to the state as much as he could, and loved to listen to Israeli songs from all periods. David to the IDF. He wanted to volunteer for a combat unit, but to his disappointment he was assigned to the Armament Corps. As part of the Armament Corps, he served as a crane operator in the brigade that did most of its service in Lebanon. David felt great pride in wearing the IDF uniform, and for the significant service he had done in Lebanon, and David was highly respected by his commanders for his exceptional seriousness and the great responsibility he displayed during the performance of his duties. Months before his death, he received a certificate of appreciation from the commander of the Hiram platoon for his service in the Ali Taher ridge and for his contribution to the security of the northern communities On September 21, 2000, David fell in the line of duty and he is twenty-one years old. He was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa, leaving behind a mother and two brothers.
