Fox, Ephraim (Froyke)
Ephraim, son of Miriam and Zalman Fox, was born on December 29, 1928 in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, and in 1934 the family immigrated to Israel. He was a member of the Hanoar Haoved and Haganah, joined the members of the Erez group and went on a two-year training program to learn about life in the group. He cleverly installed a turntable and always improved the technical and electrical accessories. His parents were also connected to the group, and he was drafted into the Palmach and was sent to the brigade commanders’ course, where he tried to achieve maximum achievements, out of a feeling of responsibility for the class. Participated in the battles of Tiberias, Ramat Yohanan, Mishmar Haemek, Ein Zeitim and Safed, and was known for his courage and courage, confident in his considerations and in control of his class, who fought absolute control. he was injured in a shelling and fell, on the 14th of Iyar 5708 (May 23, 1948). He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Safed.
