There was always a dog he grew up in. He was a talented boy, he liked to paint and participated in an exhibition in the moshav, and he played the accordion well, and there was no social event that was not invited to him to “warm up” the atmosphere with singing, playing and dancing. He also worked on building model airplanes in the framework of the building of models in the moshav. Of all his activities, sport was his great and true love. He was an excellent swimmer, with an amateur lifesaver certificate, and also excelled in the basketball game. He was an enthusiastic athlete and devoted all his free time to activities in this field. He especially liked swimming at sea and running long distances. He was a devoted and loyal son to his parents. From his father he learned to do everything simply and humbly, and from there he learned to love others and acquired the will to help and give. His father’s death before his induction into the IDF dealt a heavy blow to the young boy, who was bound by love for this special father, who was drafted into the IDF in early February 1967 and assigned to the Signal Corps. After basic training and after completing his courses in the liaison subjects, he successfully completed an officer’s course and was granted the rank of officer. At the request of his widowed mother, who is the only soul close to her, he was placed at the end of the course for one of the IDF’s training bases, and he successfully filled various positions, from the position of course officer to the commander of a section. After completing his compulsory service, Nati enlisted in the career army, and because he wanted to move up the ranks, he wanted to move and serve in a field unit, he served in this unit for seven months and then moved to the Armored Corps.
