Fishman, Joseph


Son of Zvi. He was born in 1894 in Proskarov, Russia, and in 1913 immigrated to Eretz Israel and settled in Tel Aviv. Here he built his house and built a family. Joseph was a loyal defense member. During the bloody riots of 1936-1939, on the occasion of his business in the cattle market of the German Colony of Sarona (now the Kirya of Tel Aviv), on 23 Cheshvan, 17.11.1938, he was shot by an Arab and killed. He was laid to rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak cemetery. He left a wife and three children.
