Fishel, Moshe


Son of Shprintza and Chaim-Shlomo, was born on December 10, 1913, in the city of Józefów, the district of Lublin, Poland. After studying at Hadarim and elementary school, he began earning a living from his work. After the outbreak of World War II, he escaped to the Russian occupation zone and was sent to a labor camp in Siberia after the Stalin-Sikorski agreement on the establishment of a Polish army of Polish exiles in Russia, After the war, he returned with the partisans to Poland and again found no home for his father, who was exterminated with all the other Jews, and he went through the “Bericha route” with great suffering and adventure through the devastated Central European countries and arrived in Italy. “Latrun” and arrived in Israel on June 16, 1947. He worked as an agricultural laborer in Ramat Hasharon and was active in the underground in. When the War of Independence broke out he enlisted and served in a transport unit. Moshe fell on his guard after a bullet in the Tsrifin camp on Wednesday, 6 November 1948. He was laid to rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak Military Cemetery and was followed by a wife, Shoshana.
