Fischer, Alexander-David
Son of-Chaya-Leah and Rabbi Binyamin-Ze’ev, was born on 11.1.1929 in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. At the outbreak of the War of Independence, he took part in the defense of Tel Aviv and then moved with his nucleus to the Be’erot Yitzhak group, which was besieged at that time. His parents, who had meanwhile arrived in Israel, asked him to stay with them in Kvutzat Yavneh, but he did not leave his core and arrived at Barot Yitzhak, where he fell on the 15th of Tammuz 5708 (15.7.1948) during the Egyptians’ assault on the farm he was buried in Beerot Yitzchak. on the 20th of Cheshvan 5710 (31.10.1950), he was transferred to the eternal military cemetery at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
