Son of Shalom and Gracia. His fellow citizens who were there and his fellow soldiers, all of them together were one family, a family of fighters for the people and the country, Joseph was Simcha and invested all his soul in the work, regardless of the hours on the 27th of Sivan 5729 (27.5.1969) From the bullet of an Egyptian sniper while he was performing his duties in the Dir-Suwar area, died of his wounds. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
