Feldman, Yehuda (Yudel)


Yehuda (Yudel), son of Feiga and Avraham Feldman, was born on January 19, 1923 in the city of Varka, Poland. In 1935 he immigrated to Israel with his parents, who settled in Bnei Brak. Yehuda worked in a diamond factory. For eight years he was a member of the Haganah. Yehuda was a member of the religious division of the Alexandroni Brigade, which fought many battles, from Jerusalem to the Negev. During Operation Horev, a campaign, carried out against the Falluja Pocket, the operation was carried out on the eastern flank in the area of ​​Iraq al-Manshiyya. The Alexandroni forces broke into the village to the south and took control of it. In the meantime, the Egyptians recovered and attacked and forced our forces to withdraw, and some of the men were captured in the village, including Yehuda. On the 26th of Kislav, December 28, 1948, he was buried in Faluja and on the 17t of Kislav, 8.12.1949 he was transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
