Fefferman, Eran
Son of Jonah (Eugen) and Yehudit. He was born on March 2, 1935 in Jerusalem, and when he was one year old, he went to Romania with his parents. At the age of nine, you received his father, who was a doctor by profession and one of the founders of the Zionist movement in Transylvania. Two years later, in 1946, he returned to Israel. After graduating from elementary school in the village of son of Shemen, he studied at the agricultural school there. He then moved to the Beit Hakerem High School in Jerusalem and completed his studies there. In July 1953, he was drafted into the IDF, underwent a course for officers and finally officers. On the 12th of Marcheshvan 5708 (8.11.1954) he fell while fulfilling his duties and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. After he fell, he was granted the rank of lieutenant colonel. In 1961, the parents donated to the Stefandia Foundation, the proceeds of which are awarded to the graduates of the Beit Hakerem school in the name of the graduates of the fallen institution. Sports competitions are also held there and the winning team receives a shield in his name. At the agricultural school in son of Shemen, the Stephanie Foundation was founded in the name of the fallen students, and my parents participated in it.
