Fares, Naguib

Son of Tewfik. Was born on August 28, 1949 in the Druze village of Hurfeish at the foot of Mount Meron. In his village, he attended elementary school and finished his studies as a first-grade student. One year he attended high school in Gedera and one month before the outbreak of the Six-Day War he was drafted into the IDF, where he served as a disciplined and talented soldier. He always aspired to advance in the IDF and build a military career, but he did not finish the course because on 23.10.1967 he died and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in his village.
