Faraj-Yihye, Moshe
Moshe, son of Rahamim and Sarah Faraj-Yihye. was born in 1940 in the city of Sandaj in Persia and the family immigrated to Israel in 1958. Moshe attended elementary school and was drafted into the IDF in May 1965 and completed his regular service. After being released from the army, he began to work in Dimona as a weaver. From time to time he was called up for reserve duty and in this framework he was also in the Six-Day War, when he was an excellent soldier and served as an example for his comrades-in-arms. On the third day of her battles, on 28 Iyar 5727 (7.6.1967), Moshe fell in a battle held in Bir-hama in Sinai. He left a wife. He was buried in the emergency military cemetery in Bari and was later transferred to the eternal military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
