Ezra, Jacob

Son of Esther and Danny. Yaakov was born in the Old City of Jerusalem in 1919. His parents immigrated to Israel from Morocco, and he lived in Jerusalem and had five children After the establishment of the State of Israel Yaakov was drafted into the Israel Police and served in the Transportation Division of the National Headquarters and in the Russian Compound until his last day On 18 April 1968, Policeman Jacob is heartbroken. Forty-nine years old. He was buried in the cemetery in Givat Shaul, Jerusalem. He left behind a wife and five children, the youngest of whom was one and four months old.
