Ezra, Ezekiel

Son of Menashe and Naomi. He was born on April 20, 1932 in Jerusalem. He studied in an elementary school, but the difficult living conditions did not allow him to finish his studies – and he is still a teenager when he went to war for survival and work. He began studying the plumbing profession and succeeded in it. At the outbreak of the War of Independence, he had not yet reached the enlistment age, but he did not see himself as free to help the war effort, and was then hired to serve. When he reached the age of 18, he enlisted in the IDF as part of the Nahal Brigade and on the 30th of Av 5710 (July 30, 1950), he fell to the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, And was one of the group of 16 who fell near Atarot.
