Ezra, Doron

Ben and Vivian and Meir. He was born on the 9th of Cheshvan 5737 (9.11.1976) in Rishon Letzion, the brother of Rudi, Edith and Rotem. Doron began his studies at the Itamar Ben Avi High School, continued in the “last of the Biluim” junior high school in his hometown and completed his studies at the Johanna Jabotinsky High School in Beer Yaakov, in the aviation systems track. At the beginning of April 1995, Doron enlisted in the IDF and served as a heavy helicopter mechanic at the Tel Nof Air Force base, and his commanders said that he was a quiet, responsible and disciplined soldier who performed his duties in the best possible way. On the 31st of Nisan 5756 (31.3.1996), Doron was killed in a helicopter accident during a training flight in the Mitzpe Shalem area, with Major Eyal Geller, Captain Ofer Schwartz, David Weitzman, Sergeant Guy Shafir, Corporal Inbal Twusi and Corporal Yavav Plegod, nineteen years old Doron was on his way to the military cemetery in Rishon Letzion. And two sisters, and his family commemorated him at the Rashbi Synagogue in Ramat Eliyahu.
