Etzioni (Kalpholtz), David

Son of Malka and Manus was born on November 8, 1930 in Berlin, the capital of Germany. Was a child of about four years old when the family left Nazi Germany and immigrated to Israel in 1934. David joined the army on April 16, 1948. He served in the Palmah brigade in Yiftach, where he took part in Operation Yoram (the third attack on Latrun) and during Operation Danny, he fell on July 4, 1948. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
