Dori (Freddy), son of Sabina and Solomon, was born on 9.6.1949 in Bucharest, Romania. When he was one year old, his family immigrated to Israel and settled in Jaffa. In the Yom Kippur War Dori served as a tank driver in the” Machatz “battalion on the southern front. He was brought to eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery and left behind a wife and son named Gilad Dori, who was born a week before his burial, a father, mother, sister and two brothers.
