Erlich, Naftali (Tolo)


Son of Bluma and Aryeh was born on April 29, 1928, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where his parents immigrated to Israel in 1933 and settled in Petah Tikva, And later at the “Agudat Israel” school in Petach Tikvah, where Naftali joined the ranks of the “Union Youth” and completed his studies as a diamond polisher, trained in the profession and was of great help to his parents’ home. With members of the “Union Youth” in 1945. With the outbreak of the War of Independence, he enlisted and served in the “Alexandroni” Brigade After training, he participated in the battles for Kfar Yavetz and Kfar Hess, about Salameh village and the surrounding area. He stayed in the house near Qaqun and participated in Latrun. On the Tammuz Independence (17/07/1948), was wounded in her voice, and when transferred to a hospital ambulance shell hit and killed. Naftali was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Netanya.
