Erdan, Michael (“Micha”)
Son of Moshe and Sarah. He was born on August 2, 1951, in Tiberias. He attended the “Neve Bluma” school and the “Lavi” school in Moshav Hazoreim, and finally at the “Zipora House” high school in Tiberias. He was a member of the Bnei Akiva youth movement and participated in social activities in the moshav. Micha excelled in sports and won awards for his achievements. He participated in the Gadna marches and received a medal of excellence from the mayor of Acco for his participation in the “Akko Parade.” Micha was drafted into the IDF in early November 1970 and assigned to the Israel Air Force. On the 24th of Nisan 5732 (April 4, 1972), he fell while carrying out his duties. He was laid to rest in the cemetery at Moshav Hazoreim. After his death, his sister wrote about him: “A few weeks ago we saw him with a smile always on his face, and even during hard times he could accept everything with joy and love and never complained and tried not to show his dilemmas and difficulties. He also said that he was jealous of his uniformed classmates, and even during his service he was careful to observe the commandments and asked how to solve problems that arose.
