Yosef Ben Sarah and Jacob was born on September 16, 1952, in Kiryat Haim. Yossi was drafted into the IDF in November 1970 and volunteered for the armored corps. After completing basic training, he completed a series of naval courses, including an officer’s course, and was later sent to command a stronghold in the canal. Yossi was appointed to the post of Assistant Officer in the Armored Corps Brigade shortly before his compulsory service, and during the Yom Kippur War, Yossi fought in the battle against the Egyptians on the Sinai front, and preferred to join the ranks of the fighters and commanded On a tank in armored battles on October 15, 1973. He was injured in the shelling of the “Chinese farm” area, and his connection with his tank was cut off, and he was considered missing and later identified dead and brought to rest in the Haifa cemetery.
