Engler, Doron (“Roni”)
Son of Ernst (Nahum) and Sylvia. Born in Tel Aviv on July 14, 1952, he studied at the Tchernichovsky Elementary School and completed his studies at the Geula High School, where he excelled mainly in mathematics, physics and chemistry, and was one of the best students in the class. He was a loved one and respected his friends and was considered the leader of the entire group, and he was a member of the Israel Defense Forces in mid-November 1970 and volunteered to serve in the air force. Although he contracted the disease, which lasted for about a month, he successfully completed an officers’ course and as a deputy officer, he received a position as assistant to an operations officer and was evaluated by his commanders. In his spare time, he was interested in computer problems. On the 13th of Shvat 573 (13.1.1973), Lieutenant Colonel Doron fell during his service and was put to rest in the Kiryat Shaul Military Cemetery.
