Emet, Boaz
Ben Rachel and David. He was born in Beit She’an on July 15, 1979. He was educated in the Rambam religious elementary school and was already an outstanding student, quiet, modest and loving Help friends. Boaz continued his studies at the ORT religious high school in Beit Shean. He studied electronics and thanks to the high grades he achieved, his educators recommended that he continue his studies in the 13 th and 14 th grades for the degree of practical electronics engineer. Boaz studied at the Sha’anan College, the religious college of education in Haifa, where he was awarded a teaching certificate as a senior qualified teacher, enabling him to instruct the electronics professions in the classes Seventh to twelfth grade. During his studies, Boaz served as a tutor for students with learning difficulties. He taught them lovingly, patiently and devotedly and devoted a great deal of time to them. At the beginning of July 1999 Boaz enlisted in the IDF and was stationed in the Ordnance Corps, where he served in Armored Corps Unit 188 in Battalion 71 as a Control Systems Technician for Merkava Mark 3. In the summer of 2002 he began his service in the regular army. And during the course of his service, Boaz fought in Lebanon and was one of the last soldiers to evacuate southern Lebanon in 2001. In addition, he served in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip On 8 June 2003, Erez “in the Gaza Strip and he is twenty-four years old. He was laid to rest in the military section of Beit Shean cemetery. Survived by parents and three brothers. After his fall he was promoted to the rank of sergeant. On July 15, 2003, Boaz’s birthday, the “Boaz Garden” was inaugurated at the western entrance to Beit Shean. In this corner are decorative plants, grass surfaces, lilies, cypress trees and olive trees, as well as a seating and rest area. On the first anniversary of Boaz’s fall, an evening was held in his memory, entitled “Remembering, Loving and Aching”. This evening, words of Torah and words were uttered by the teacher, teachers and teachers who taught Boaz over the years. His life was laid out in words and sounds, and a special presentation was screened. The contents of the evening were recorded and commemorated in a booklet published by the family and on CD. On the second anniversary of his fall, a magnificent Torah scroll was written in the name of Boaz, which was placed in the synagogue in Beit Shean where the family is praying.
