Son of Alexander and Francesca. He was born on the 28th of Tammuz 5637 (28.6.1937) in the city of Temswara, Romania. His childhood was hard and hard. He was four years old when his father was sent to forced labor in the camp, and later, when his mother was fired from her job, the father was sent to a concentration camp and the family remained destitute. In those days of distress, at the height of the war, the child proved extremely mature in helping his mother with her means of livelihood (such as transferring baskets of merchandise). When the ship arrived in Haifa, she was deported to Cyprus – where the family spent a long time until the time of its liberation and immigration to Israel in early 1947. The family settled in Kfar Sirkin and soon the child adapted to the new life and even succeeded In his studies. He was also one of the outstanding students in the gymnasium. He was an outstanding athlete, loved music and art, and was eager to continue learning and developing. Was always the living spirit among his friends in arranging trips and parties and helping a weak and suffering friend. His friends loved him and his teachers admired him for his candor, honesty, and simplicity. He was drafted into the IDF as part of the Nahal Brigade in August 1955 and was the center of the Hamdiya nucleus. He was a central figure in training, but above all, a model soldier who was committed to the goal and did not deviate from it. He fell in the battle of Rafah in Sinai during the 27th of March 1957. Was buried in the emergency military cemetery in Bari and on the 16th of Elul 5717 (12.9.1957) he was put to eternal rest in the cemetery in Hamadia. Members of the nucleus “to book” in Hamadia published a booklet in his memory for “thirty”. His memory was also raised in the “Niv HaGevah” of the month of Shvat 5717.
